Board of Directors
William L. Campbell: Chairman
Campbell is one of VICOR Inc.'s founders and has been
a director of the company since its inception in 1989.
He is currently a director and Executive Vice President
of Avistar Communications Corporation. He also holds
the position of Corporate Secretary for Avistar. Campbell
has been Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer
of Collaboration Properties, Inc. since 1998. He holds
a B.S. in general engineering from the U.S. Military
Academy and an M.S. in management from the Sloan School
of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Larry McNabb: Vice Chairman
McNabb served as CEO of VICOR from November 2000 through
December of 2003. He joined VICOR in 1998 as President
of VICOR Financial Services. Prior to joining VICOR,
McNabb was a Group Executive Vice President at Bank
of America. In eleven years with the Bank of America,
he managed a variety of key functions. His last assignment
was Group Executive Vice President in charge of the
Bank's Global Payments and Cash Management business.
He has been involved in numerous civic and professional
organizations and has been a frequent speaker at conventions
and conferences on payments, operations, retail banking
and corporate banking issues. McNabb holds a BS in Math
from the Tennessee Technology University and is a graduate
of the Louisiana State University school of banking.
Gerald J. Burnett: Board Member
Burnett is one of VICOR, Inc.'s founders and has been
a director of the company since its inception in 1989.
He is currently Chairman and CEO of Avistar Communications
Corporation and a director of Collaboration Properties,
Inc. Burnett has held directorships for over a decade
at Avistar, VICOR, Inc., and Western Data Systems. In
addition to possessing a B.S. and an M.S. from the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology in electrical engineering and
computer science, he is a member of MIT's Corporation
(Board of Trustees). Burnett also holds a Ph.D. from
Princeton University in computer science and communications.
R. Stephen Heinrichs: Board Member
Heinrichs is a founder of VICOR, Inc. and has been
a director of the company since its inception in 1989.
Until his retirement in May 2001, Heinrichs was Chief
Financial Officer and Secretary of Avistar Communications
Corporation and its subsidiaries. Currently he is a
strategic advisor to Avistar, as well as a director
of the Board. From 1976 through 1989 he was Chief Financial
Officer at Teknekron and Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer of several Teknekron companies. He has been
Chairman of Western Data Systems of Nevada, Inc. since
1990. From 1969 through 1974 he was an accountant with
Arthur Andersen LLP. Heinrichs holds a B.S. in Accounting
from California State University in Fresno. He is a
Certified Public Accountant.
Robert F. Kirk: Board Member/President
and CEO
Kirk has nearly 25 years of direct experience in financial
services and Cash Management. Prior to joining VICOR
in 1999, Kirk was President of Enterprise Consulting,
Inc. His engagements included consulting in both the
operational and strategic marketing aspects of the banking
industry. Previously, he held the position of Vice President
of Marketing with BancTec Systems, Inc., working in
their Dallas headquarters. He joined BancTec in 1989
as Director of Product Marketing for their Retail and
Wholesale Remittance products. Earlier, Kirk had a ten-year
tenure with Mellon Bank where he held the position of
Vice President, Operations with responsibility for Mellon's
Nationwide Lockbox Operations. Kirk has both his Bachelors
and Masters Degrees in Business from West Virginia University.
