Management Team
Cayford Burrell: Chief
Technology Officer
Cayford Burrell is responsible for the direction
of VICOR advancements and products. Since 1995,
Burrell has been spearheading VICOR systems development
projects. He plays an integral role in helping
define VICOR's product strategy, customer requirements
and issue resolution. Before joining VICOR, he
worked for TRW Financial Systems for seven years,
where he designed and implemented high volume
GIRO image processing systems in European markets.
Burrell holds a BS in Math and a Masters Degree
in Engineering/Computer Science from the University
of California, Berkeley. |

Mike Dignen:
Senior Vice President of National Account Management
Mike Dignen oversees the sales organization at
VICOR and has over 25 years experience in banking
and trade credit. Prior to joining VICOR in 2002,
he was an Executive Vice President with a privately
held financial services consulting firm specializing
in profitability enhancement. Earlier he spent
12 years as a relationship manager in Correspondent,
Large Corporate, and Middle Market Banking with
CoreStates Bank in Philadelphia. He has experience
with remittance processing both as a corporate
end user during employment with Ingersoll-Rand
and Ogden Corporation and as a service provider
while at CoreStates, responsible for delivering
wholesale and retail lockbox as a strategic relationship
initiative to corporate customers and prospects.
Dignen has a BBA degree in Finance from The George
Washington University. |

Bob Murphy:
Senior Vice President of Marketing
Bob Murphy leads VICOR's marketing and strategy
overseeing; product management, product marketing,
pricing, promotion/advertising, media and analyst
relations, events, and strategic marketing programs.
Prior to joining VICOR, Murphy was Vice President
and General Manager of the North American division
of CyberNet, Inc., where he led the market entry
strategy and established North American operations
for the Korean electronic payment systems firm.
Murphy brings extensive payment industry experience
to VICOR with marketing and business development
positions at the executive and general management
level at: CyberBills, PaymentNet and VeriFone.
At VeriFone, Murphy held multiple International
Marketing positions, including Director of International
Marketing. |

Steve Westmoreland: Senior
Vice President of Support Operations
Steve Westmoreland oversees support and quality
assurance efforts at VICOR. He has over 25 years
of experience in Information Systems, Bank Operations,
and Telecommunications. Prior to joining VICOR,
Westmoreland was Chief Information Officer and
a Director of Damage Studios, where he was responsible
for information technology and infrastructure
development. Prior to that time, he was Chief
Information Officer of VALinux Systems. Earlier,
he held operations and technology positions with
Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Centex. Westmoreland
holds a BS degree in Computer Science from Louisiana
Tech University and he is active on several technology
research boards in the San Francisco Bay Area. |

Gavin Rudy:
Senior Vice President of Development
Gavin Rudy is responsible for design, programming,
software/hardware development, and configuration
of systems. A 27-year veteran of the IT industry,
Rudy previously was program manager with Hewlett
Packard Corp., where he planned and managed development
and maintenance of enterprise reporting solutions
and led the turnaround of a critical supply chain
platform. Before joining HP, Gavin served as director
of program management and software quality assurance
at Documentum. Rudy has also held technical management
positions at a variety of companies, including:
Octel Communications Corporation, Battelle Pacific
Northwest Labs (PNNL), and Lockheed Missiles and
Space Co. Rudy holds a bachelor’s degree
in mathematics from California State University,
Hayward.
