VICOR Opens Product Development Facility in Texas
Development Team to Focus on New Product Development

RICHMOND, CA, March 7, 2006 – VICOR, Inc. announced
the expansion of its product development group with
the opening of a development facility in Dallas, TX.
The office is a strategic investment by VICOR to help
accelerate the development and introduction of its newest
products. The new Texas office will report into VICOR’s
product development group headquartered in Richmond,
CA.
“The team we’re building in Dallas will
play a critical role in designing and developing some
of VICOR’s most innovative software products for
managing and processing complex payments,” stated

about the expansion of our product development group,
particularly in the Dallas metro area where we know
there is a large concentration of highly qualified technical
professionals and resources.”
This office will employ software engineers that will
become an integral part of a development team responsible
for new product design using Service Oriented Architecture
(SOA) software development methodologies. The use of
SOA methodologies is expected to expand rapidly within
the financial services market and provide benefits such
as rapid-time-to-market and module re-usability.
