VICOR Appoints Senior Vice President of Development

RICHMOND, CA, April 11, 2006 – VICOR, the leading provider of solutions that optimize the processing of complex payments, today announced that Gavin J. Rudy has been named senior vice president of development. Rudy will report to VICOR CEO Bob Kirk.

A 27-year veteran of the IT industry, Rudy previously was program manager with Hewlett Packard Corp., where he planned and managed development and maintenance of enterprise reporting solutions and led the turnaround of a critical supply chain platform. Before joining HP, Gavin served as director of program management and SW quality assurance at Documentum and played a key role in development, testing, and deployment of the largest software release in the company’s history. In addition, Rudy has held technical management positions at a variety of companies, including: Octel Communications Corporation, Battelle Pacific Northwest Labs (PNNL), and Lockheed Missiles and Space Co.

Rudy holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from California State University, Hayward.
