Richmond, CA, December 1, 2003 - VICOR,
Inc., the leading provider of integrated receivables processing solutions,
announces the appointment
of Steve Westmoreland to the newly created position of Senior Vice
President of Support Operations.
Westmoreland brings to VICOR over 25
years of experience in Information Systems, Bank Operations, and Telecommunications.
Most recently, he was Chief Information Officer and a Director of Damage
Studios, where he was responsible for information technology and infrastructure
development. Prior to that time, Westmoreland was Chief Information
Officer of VALinux Systems. Earlier, he held operations and technology
positions
with Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Centex. Westmoreland holds a
BS degree in Computer Science from Louisiana Tech University and he is
active
on several technology research boards in the San Francisco Bay Area.
