VICOR, Inc. Appoints David Youker to Lead New Product

RICHMOND, CA, June 28, 2005 – VICOR, Inc., a
leading provider of image-enabled receivables processing
and management solutions, today announced that David
Youker has been named vice president, national account
management. Youker will be responsible for managing
sales initiatives for VICOR’s new suite of distributed
business process offerings. He reports to Mike Dignen,
senior vice president, national account management at
VICOR.
Youker brings extensive IT sales and consulting expertise
to his new position at VICOR, having served most recently
in sales and business development for the Enterprise
Payments group at BankServ. At BankServ, he held marketing
and sales responsibilities for a wide range of Automated
Clearinghouse (ACH) and credit/debit card based accounts
receivables solutions for banks, financial services
and property management firms, and served as a vertical
industry specialist for healthcare/insurance, education
and government services markets. He also was BankServ’s
enterprise electronic receivables specialist for the
financial services, property management, healthcare
and government services markets.
Previous to that, Youker worked in sales and business
development for start-up firm Avolent, where he sold
electronic payment and presentment solutions to top
US banks, global telecommunications companies and financial
services firms, and held responsibility for Avolent’s
reseller relationships. He also has held senior roles
at Model N, Andersen Consulting Strategic Services,
and AT&T

Youker earned an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School
of Management at Northwestern University, and holds
a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Dartmouth
College.
