RIDS Retail
RIDS Retail enables remittance processors to capture
and package retail payments using a variety of image
and data capture devices and to provide enhanced customer
payment reporting. RIDS Retail is available as a stand-alone
remittance processing platform or as a fully integrated
module of VICOR’s Receivables Information Delivery
System (RIDS). RIDS Retail captures and packages singles,
multiples, and correspondence items at high speed and
employs advanced optical character recognition (OCR)
and intelligent character recognition (ICR) technologies
to reduce data entry labor. In addition, a Forms Processing
application can be used to expedite data entry on forms.
RIDS Retail supports credit card processing, returned
item processing, and ARC. Publishing options are highly
automated and customer-defined, and include delivery
via the Internet, CD-ROM, DVD, BAI transmission, fax,
or printed reports.

and electronic channels. VICOR’s products provide
